Low Box / Narrow horizontal carved grooves with iron

A small vessel for secret treasures.

Handmade in stoneware, its textured surface invites touch. Finished with an iron wash over a satin white glaze, it was fired in a gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere, a process that brings out depth and subtle variations in colour. One of a kind.
